Dr. Haya Ali Al-Sulaiti is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Qatar University, College of Health Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry & Bioanalysis from the University of Groningen, specializing in biomarker discovery for diabetes and obesity. At QU, Dr. Al-Sulaiti teaches courses including Medical Biochemistry, Clinical Chemistry, and Pharmacology & Toxicology, and has supervised both undergraduate research projects and Master’s dissertations. She is the leader of the Metabolomics LC-MS platform at QU, supporting multidisciplinary research across Qatar and beyond and she has published extensively in high-impact journals. In addition to research and teaching, she serves as the official Spokesperson and focal point for the WHO Collaborating Centre at QU. Dr. Al-Sulaiti is passionate about mentoring the next generation of scientists and advancing biomedical research in Qatar.
