I am a Clinical Scientist and Deputy Head of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory with a strong background in molecular genetics, diagnostics, and translational research. Over the years, I have honed my expertise in diagnostic and research laboratories, holding key positions at esteemed institutions such as Sidra Medicine, Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI), and Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. My work focuses on advancing the understanding and application of molecular genetics to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care. I hold a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, along with MSc and BSc degrees in Biomedical Sciences, which have provided me with a solid foundation in the field. My leadership and professional skills are further enhanced by executive leadership training from Qatar Leadership Center, equipping me to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex research projects effectively. In my current role, I lead efforts to integrate innovative genetic testing methodologies into clinical practice while mentoring upcoming researchers in the field. Passionate about bridging the gap between research and clinical application, I aim to contribute to the development of personalized medicine solutions that improve healthcare outcomes.
