Bring your creativity to life with Qatar National Library’s Bookmark Design Contest!
We’re inviting you to design a bookmark that reflects the essence of reading, learning or culture, and submit it digitally. The best design will be chosen for print and distribution at QNL and the lucky winner will receive an iPad! Check out the guidelines below for how to enter the contest!
Eligibility
- Open to members of Qatar National Library
- Participants must be 13 years and above
Theme
- Designs should reflect QNL’s mission of providing access to knowledge, preserving heritage, or promoting a culture of reading and learning
- You can submit 3 designs consisting of the following: General Library, Heritage Library and the Children’s Library (including the mascot Ramly)
Deadline:
All entries must be submitted by 22 December 2024, 11:59 PM (Qatar time).
Judging Criteria:
You may submit up to 3 designs which will be judged on:
- Creativity and originality
- Visual appeal and design quality
Prize:
The winner’s designs will be printed and distributed at QNL, and will receive an iPad.
Terms and Conditions:
- Bookmark dimensions: 5 cm wide x 15 cm long / 600 pixels wide by 1800 pixels
- Submissions must be in PNG, JPG or PDF format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and maximum file size of 5MB
- Designs must be original, unpublished, and should not contain copyrighted materials
- By submitting, you grant QNL the right to use, reproduce, and display your design for non-commercial purposes
- All designs remain the intellectual property of the artists, but QNL reserves the right to modify winning designs for printing purposes
